I’m very excited to announce that Mightier Than Sword Records will be releasing Blink-182′s “Self-Titled” 2xLP vinyl on July 13th. Pre-order for the record will begin May 24th at 12 PM EST in the MTS Webstore. Details on the release can be found below:
Vinyl colors:
500 – 180 gram black (MTS webstore exclusive)
500 – pink/green swirl (MTS webstore exclusive)
500 – half pink/half green (MTS webstore exclusive)
500 – pink/white swirl (MTS webstore exclusive)
2,000 – solid pink (Hot Topic exclusive)
Packaging:
- gatefold jacket
- matte jacket finish with spot gloss on cover, outlining black smiley face logo
- 10×10” booklet mimicking CD booklet
- full color matte innersleeves
- etched d-side vinyl with smiley logo (pictured below)

Not to bother but I really am curious if “Take off your pants and jacket” will see the vinyl treatment. Do you guys have any plans to do that? Also, for everyone out there, I have the original cheshire cat on vinyl. The one that just says Blink on it. No 182 back in those days. Just thought I’d throw that out there and make some people jealous.

HAHA. No lie. I grew up in Souther California. My favorrite place to go and see shows was called the Showcase Theater in Corona. Blink use to play there all the time with awesome bands like HomeGrown, Backside, Swindle. I actually have a letter written on the back of a Pennywise/DFL flyer from Mark from when I wrote them and he responded. In the letter he talks about them having to change thier name to Blink 182 and he sent me some stickers. I wish I still had THOSE. But yeah, I have it. Never parting with it either.
They never had blink without 182 on vinyl. It was only like that on the cd
